We stayed at an architecturally inspired/absurd hotel next to the Wall...

After parents returned to ATL, we still managed to amuse ourselves.

	G sports a proper kilt for the Scottish dance. Note the healthy array of drums at the ready.

	Kids get ready for concert in the park.
	Fun Ozomatli concert in the park.
	I don't know about the locals, but for us, Shaq serves an important function (aside from beckoning-hoops-siren) as our "big chicken".
	Across the park from the Shaq is the drive-in. Haven't been there yet.

AK and I walked around in-town lakes in Beijing, stopping at the drum tower and bell tower.

	Tower has a good view, and is positioned so residents can hear the city "clock".
