Nobody does crowded like a land of a billion people.

G's most excellent traditional Chinese pinwheel-powered drum noisemaker - made from mostly bamboo and bits of wood and paper.

We were given a string of firecrackers as a gift, so we had to light them.

AK and Grant went to one of the numerous local festivals to see assorted jugglers, fire wranglers, parades, etc.

At end of New Year period is Lantern Festival. AK co-hosted an event of the Chinese CDC (which is actually called the Chinese CDC). And like everybody else, she too was cajoled into performing a talent - Taiji, in AK's case.
